-SYNOPSIS-

The refined Jonathan Joestar's life becomes a living hell as the devilish Dio Brando enters his family as his adopted brother. Dio only has one goal in his sights, to ruin Jonathan Joestar's life and take everything from him. This first volume shows the origins of Jonathan Joestar, the heir to the Joestar family, and how he grows from a young boy to a full-grown man. Jonathan's growth is full of hardships & losses, notably the relentless bullying from a young Dio Brando, who's life as been a living hell until the unexpected passing of his father, Dario Brando. A story filled with drama, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure has been one of Japan's biggest manga franchises, and is now one of the world's biggest anime crazes. Only 9 tapes have currently been made for this project, as a test of how to plan a project of this scale, and the majority of tapes were passed along to friends & JoJo fans at Fanime 2023.

One of the highest rated series and a personal favorite of mine, the first part of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series (later subtitled Phantom Blood) was brought onto television screens for the first time in 2012. This is the biggest VHS-related project I've ever worked on (and also the most expensive!)
